Sanjay Agrawal

Sanjay is a St. Louis native and began his practice with the Missouri Public Defender where he undertook many jury trials to verdict. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was an engineer working for military defense contractors. His engineering background and expertise in artificial intelligence has allowed him to work with experts to clearly explain highly technical matters to a judge and jury. He has also provided pro bono legal advice to over 1000 startup companies.
He has two boys in college and an Australian Labradoodle named Henry. In his spare time, he can be found listening to live music at various venues throughout St. Louis.

Sanjay is part of Roberts Perryman’s Insurance Defense and Insurance Coverage practice groups. He has effectively litigated cases in Missouri and Illinois, as well as in various federal and appellate courts. He is an experienced attorney with over 20 years of legal experience in litigation, appeals, licensing, contractual matters, commercial transactions, advising small businesses, conducting due diligence, client counseling, and technology commercialization. He has substantial experience handling premises liability, product liability, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, airplane, hot air balloon, and auto accidents. Sanjay also has represented condominium, cooperative, homeowner, townhome, and other common interest community associations by analyzing and interpreting the Declarations, By-Laws, rules & regulations of HOAs; providing legal opinions to Amendments enforcing covenants, and providing representation in Developer disputes and litigation. Furthermore, Sanjay has significant corporate law experience as the in-house counsel for two multinational corporations. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers® in 2027 for his work in product liability – defense litigation.
