Matthew J. Henning

Matthew Henning is an attorney at Roberts Perryman P.C., where he focuses his practice on trucking and transportation law. Based in the firm’s St. Louis office, he represents motor carriers, logistics companies, and insurers in a variety of complex litigation matters, with a concentration on commercial transportation and personal injury defense.

A graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law (J.D., 2019), Matthew brings strong legal training and practical litigation experience to his role. During law school, he completed externships with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, and multiple state prosecutor offices, giving him a solid foundation in both federal and state practice.

He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois, as well as in several U.S. District Courts across both states. His multijurisdictional licensure and litigation background make him a valuable resource for clients navigating transportation claims throughout the Midwest.

An active member of the legal and trucking communities, Matthew participates in organizations such as the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), Transportation Defense Advocacy Council (TDAC), Missouri and Illinois Trucking Associations, and the American Trucking Association (ATA). He has attended and presented at numerous industry meetings and was a recent participant in ATA’s Wheels & Deals: Mastering the Art of Negotiation program.
