Will James

Will is a St. Louis native who received a B.A. in Business Administration from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. Afterwards, he attended the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence, Kansas. While in law school, Will served as a class representative of the Student Bar Association and officer of Sports Law Society. He also defended students in the KU Court of Parking Appeals. Upon graduation, Will was honored with the Pro Bono Distinction award and a Business & Commercial Law certificate.

In addition to student organizations, Will interned for the Kansas Department of Corrections, where he presented and defended against inmate property claims in front of the Kansas State Legislature, Joint Committee on Special Claims Against the State. He also interned for the City of Lenexa, Kansas in the prosecution division, where he gained valuable courtroom experience while maintaining a 100% conviction rate.

Will’s practice currently focuses on defending claims of premises liability, personal injury, and legal malpractice for businesses, insurance carriers, and professionals.

In his free time, Will is often cooking, exercising, and playing the daily Wordle. He is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys exploring all the city has to offer.
