Ted Perryman Presents Before the MCSAC Subcommittee Concerning the Use of CSA Data in Court Proceedings

9/26/2013

The MCSAC subcommittee was exploring the input from researchers who have evaluated the problems with CSA data and the relationship between scores and crash risk. Subsequently, the group learned how the data (e.g., scores, violations) were being used by third parties such as investment analysts and brokers. The MCSAC subcommittee was interested in learning how CSA scores might be used in court. Ted Perryman represented the defense side of the data equation and Jeff Burns of Dollar Burns & Becker presented the plaintiff’s perspective.
